Leon Trotsky as Snowball
Playing a fundamental role in leading the Russian revolution, was the Marxist Leon Trotsky. Throughout the novel animal farm, Leon Trotsky was portrayed by a pig named Snowball. Many of his life events were represented by Snowball's actions.

Leon Trotsky
During Trotsky's life he has been exiled from his country the Soviet Union, while he was abroad he was frequently reflected as a betrayer by his country, many lies were created in order to spoil his status. Although Leon Trotsky was portrayed very negatively by many people his leadership for the Red Army were really successful in the course of the revolution. He also had his ambition to improve the lives of citizens. Leon Trotsky died from injuries from a attempted murder by an agent of the NKVD named Ramon Mercador on August 21, 1940. |
Snowball
Snowball became a exile by the dogs that Napoleon had trained. After being exiled, Napoleon who represented Joseph Stalin in the Russian Revolution, had blamed numerous problems on the the Animal Farm on Snowball, wrecking his high reputation. As shown in the novel, the military leadership skills were demonstrated in the Battle Of the Cowshed, as Snowball lead them to triumph. Further more, the animals begin to realize that Snowball is a more intelligent and has a greater degree in public speaking than Napoleon. Napoleon also tried to have snowball murdered, because he was afraid of loosing his place of leadership. |
